The Agency -

This was Sony BIG announcement today , looks interesting

GamersInfo.net's interview with The Agency's design director, Matt Wilson.
"Matt Wilson: The basic premise behind The Agency is to live the life of an elite spy agent. We intend to do this by really immersing the player in what they've been used to seeing in movies like James Bond or the Bourne series or in TV shows like 24 or Alias, to really give them that experience of living the life of an elite agent. Whether that comes from the lifestyle, the locations or the over-the-top action moments that people love to see. We want to give them something exciting that they would typically expect in that kind of action/intrigue genre."

This could be really good, just a bit underwhelming, I was expecting something amazing considering the "big announcement" hype. Oh well, lets hope its good.

Look's crap!
I suppose going by what we've had as gamers over the last months, anything from Sony is considered "big news".
I didn't get my hopes up, I actually forgot all about the "big announcement", luckily it wasn't something worth remembering.
And anyway, why is that PS2 looking game supposedly something "360 owners can only dream about"?
If Lair, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted and others aren't out on time, I'm gonna throw my PS3 out the window!
HYPE, you gotta love it!
EDIT: After having a look around at this "big news" I'd like to reinforce my disposition: I'm a PS3 owner and I'm not smiling wide!
Now if Sony said something like, 'GT5 will be out by the end of June, with monthly online updates just to get it out quicker', I would be smiling so wide I'd have to have my head restructured just to accommodate it!
As it stands, surgery is not needed.

Yeah OK, after watching that video it does look interesting and could be very good. I'm starting to think that there are lots of PS3 games on the horizon that could be great, I just hope, at least, some actually are.

For those that don't know, HD footage of Agency can be seen here http://www.gametrailers.com/gamepage.php?id=4932
To be fair, this game has limitless possibilities.
Has a release date been set?

the fact that it will be free for most of the game and you only have to pay for certain content makes it even more interesting for me , seems like this and warhawk could really make multi-player gaming on the ps3 worth having a look at

Although Xbox live is an excellent interface, the online experience from any game doesn't really do it for me, although PGR3 online used to be quite fun. What I really enjoyed and I mean really, was playing BF2, CS:S and GTL on the PC. Yeah BF2 has it's problems but online war doesn't get any better. CS:S runs on any PC and can be so intense, it's a tactical masterpiece and GTL, well, what can I say, online racing at it's best.
I'd love it if Warhawk and Agency offer the same immersive worlds. Meeting people in Home and making a seemless transition to the game would be good.
I WANT KILLER APPS NOOOOOOWWWWWWWW!
And there's me thinking I wasn't bothered about the wait.....lol.
