is this only change as i have the previous version and don't have crossfire, is it ok to leave that one on for now i should i update?

are you meant to run atitray tools as administrator, as i haven't had problems not running as admin in vista. or is there something that isn't working correctly by not running as admin.

thanks for the help

You can stick with release. This is just small localization subsystem update

No. No needs to run it as admin. Just use administrator account to install

I assume you don't have CCC installed? Go to the Advanced tweaks and select "CCC mode switch" database

Hey Ray. I've been using ATT for a long time. Why in these betas Volume control in Hot Keys is gone? (in Vista x64) It was very usefull for me, I use headphones only, any chances we'll see it back?

Hey, dont know if its a problem with the new beta verion but older version runs without the problem. My card dont change 2d and 3d mode. Just runs in 2d mode. Ati HotKeyPoller is on but wont change the memory when i start a 3d application...
I tried a new installation but dont change anything. Is there anything changed in the beta that this could happen?

any idea what it could be?

dada

edit: my system runs on xp 32bit

Nothing was changed. Just be sure you didn't touch OverCloking in ATT with Driver Level or it will overwrite any OverDrive settings and you will not get 2d/3d clocks with Catalyst

Here a bug goes: in Battlefield 2 taking screenshots causes BSOD very often. No matter bmp, jpg or png and I've tried it with different drivers and ATT versions.

my specs:

I think I found a bug. It appears ATT incorrectly detects the memory settings for Overdrive (I have a X1950CF, currently in a single configuration).

As you can see ATT thinks my max memory is 900 (when it should be 1100; in fact ATT's max is under my default memory speed of 1000).

Not a big issue, but I thought I should bring it to your attention (I'm running Vista x64 btw if that helps).

It better to use SEARCH before posting some "bugs" ! ATT will show SAME values as Catalyst because ATT reads them from Catalyst. And for your board you HAVE to increase upper memory limit in ATT's general settings.

Hi Ray Adams!

1. v1.3.6.1046 beta cause BSOD on my XP SP2 system. I don't use this.
2. v1.3.6.1044 beta cause "Advanced Disc Catalog" (version is latest 1.51) program freeze, my virus scanner says : "buffer overrun".

If I add "Adc.exe" to hardware/auto overlocking/exclude list
or
tools&options/general options/general tab/agressive 3D detection uncheck,
the result : adc works correctly.

Thank you, this is great application, I think this is the best ATI utility on the world.

Sorry my poor english.

This is only way to do when you find incompatible software.

Have there been any updates on the Crossfire front? I posted my system info before and after Crossfire in the specified thread.
THanks for the great app! You know you're famous right? :p

Hi Ray, just wondering. Are you planning to include control to choose over the new color system available in cat7.5 ? I'm talking about "MCE and Standard"

May be The one problem is I have last beta version of Catalyst + CCC (8.40) and there are no such option at all (disappeared) I don't know is it will be removed in next releases or not.
