There is no ETA, I'm sorry. It's rather soonish then when its done. I have it working for most parts but there are some bugs left I still need to fix. There are also some new features which need more finetuning. More information will be released shortly.

Could you please, if feasible, add support for Auzen sound cards, particular the X-fi Prelude? Cheers.

I have no problems with that, but I don't have Auzen sound cards myself. But as stated in the readme, anyone is free to email/PM me filenames and registry entries. Thats the only thing needed for me to add them.

Just wanted to say thanks FnF, for you community support. I have been having a hard time getting my nVida control panel to work since I put in my MSI 8800GT and your program did the trick. I tried a couple other driver cleaners with no luck. Keep up the great work!

I've had troubles the last two times I used DS on my system, but before then it was my bread and butter.
The problem is that even though I only select NVIDIA - Display to remove, somehow my NForce network drivers, libraries or both are gone and I can't connect to the Internet. I get the alert icons in my tray and hover over to see "Limited or no connectivity" which means none at all, really.
Last time this happened I got it back with System Restore. This time System Restore isn't restoring my connectivity, but I'll figure it out. I have the WHQL NForce drivers for my 590 chipset (v9.53) but that isn't working right now either. I'll figure it out and post back, just thought I'd mention it.
===update===
Okay, I probably didn't lose my drivers although the "repair connection" DNS flush wasn't getting me a new IP address. But I fixed it by running these from a command prompt:
netsh winsock reset catalog
netsh int ip reset reset.log
It's wierd because I've never had to do that before. If may be related to the extremely unsigned drivers I've been testing, but who knows!

Hey FnF, is the update going to include a deeper cleaning of ATI display drivers, or is the program pretty much already as good as it's going to get in that department? Are all files and registry entires already being cleaned...? What about Driver Cleaner NET? Have you looked at their filters and added targets into Driver Sweeper?
Cheers!
PS: Why is this thread stickied in the nVidia driver section, when its functionality extends to Creative's and ATI's software as well..?

I have no NVIDIA LAN here anymore, but anyone is free to email or PM me files/registry keys and then I'm happy to implement them.
In new version you can also create filters yourself, then you can email me that filter too.

ATi file and registry cleaning is perfect. Registry cleaning is improved in new version btw.
I agree without you, this thread should be moved to another place not only in NVIDIA topic.
About the new version:
I switched on my main desktop to Vista x64 (I was running Vista x86 before) and I like it (Feels way faster then x86). I found several things with Driver Sweeper under x64 which I wanted to fix first, which is causing the delay. The first thing was that Desktop Icon Position Restorer didn't worked under x64 (I already knew this, it was in readme too). I put some effort in this and now Desktop Icon Position Restorer is also working on x64
Since new build can also scan first without deleting stuff I thought lets give it a shot on x64 and found out that a lot of files aren't found by Driver Sweeper After doing some research it seems Driver Sweeper wasn't the only program with this 'bug'. Seems something is changed in x64 and I only found one program which was able to find all files, all other programs found the same results as Driver Sweeper (Windows API is used for this, in case someone is interested ). So what now Well to make a long story short, I found a way to get all files in x64 as well but it took some time to finetune this (I didn't wanted to release junk). Quality comes first. The only thing is that .NET 2.0 or higher is required on x64 file cleaning now. Does this matter? No, everyone should at least have .NET installed, Vista has it installed by default and today a lot of programs use it, if you haven't you really should Is it slower than x86 scanning? No, both processes are around same scanning speed, it's just a different way to scan the files, and all files are always better than a few files isn't it
I hope this update suites everyone's questions and I hope to have a build ready very soon. Within a couple of days I will release a build to some testers and few days after to translators. Like I told before new build also has an update feature and I still need to arrange things for that, but now the time is right for that I think .
Dragunov will get the new build first to test.

Yeah, let me answer that. There have been a number of hack attempts at that server. All registered attempts result into the node/ip being blocked.
Seems there are a lot of Polish kids with too much spare time on their hands. And no .. we will not open up the IP ranges.
Sorry.
