If I can recall, aren't ATI/AMD's Vista drivers working out well?

That's what I thought. Can't wait for the R600! He he.

I get Keita Iida's point here:
But what about the other cards? Pretty much everyone is suffering.

Wait, what? No I think I must have typed something wrong. I was stating that even from that person's excuse ATI STILL has better Vista drivers than Nvidia.

DX10 has been out forever (to the devs)

you dont think when nvidia DESIGNED their vcard that they didnt start working on the drivers then?

they can emulate their hardware without even having hardware.

ATI started when NVIDIA started developing drivers dont you ever thing anyting different

"I can assure you and your readers that our first priority right now is not performance"

Oh, that is just wonderful. The one thing I am waiting for is the one thing they're not working on.

that is exactly what i thought!

its been 5months about...when do they start working on performance?

when exactly did NVIDIA start working on this driver....they act like they got their copy of windows vista a day before they launched the product

so when will they prioritize performance then..

the one thing id like to know is...

are we assured that the 8800 wont be a repeat of the FX fiasco?

Indeed only time will tell, and until then I am holding off on upgrading.

Months have past and still we are hearing this crap, enthusiast are really taking it in the ass on this one. It's going to be quite frustrating if I have to wait until 2008 to upgrade.

What a bunch of double talk and BS.

nVidia has had the DirectX10 spec since Vista was first developed, otherwise they wouldn't know what spec to build their cards to. Sounds more and more like a hardware issues with the 8800's otherwise it would have been fixed by now and now there scrambling for any excuse they can find.

ForceWare for Vista also works fine. Or is it just me who's so damn lucky? I doubt it...

I haven't had any issues, but the think is with all the issues they having with the 8 series cards, I not feeling to upgrade.
