15075 3D06 Marks out of E6600 and 8800GTS SLI!!!

Pictures tomorrow! We tested our new shop machine for the first time today with GREAT results. So far our E6600 @ 3.55 (ON AIR!!!) with two 8800GTS scored 15075 today and runs super stable. Under load Riva didnt shot the CPU going over 106F The specs are:

EVGA 680i, E6600 @ 3.55, 2G Dominator 1111 5-5-5-15-2T FSB 1520(ish) Mem 1157(ish) Unlinked, RaptorX, XFi XGamer, PCP&C S750, Antec900 (4x120M 1x200MM fans) Sony DL DVDRW.

This will be up for sale within the next few days. I am the Tech Mgr at a closing Comp*** and this needs to be sold. Me and my techs all have a little money invested in this machine and we are looking to sell this soon.

PS no pics tonight because this website is off limits at Comp*** and I need to bring my DigiCam and post the SS pics of the scores.

PPS Still more testing to do tomorrow. We stuck to 5-5-5-15-2T for stability. Tomorrow we are going to 4-5-5-15-2T then 4-5-4-15-2T ETC... Im SURE we will get to 154XX So Hilbert WATCH OUT IM COMEN FOR YOUR SCORE!!!

i ran my system on a single 88gtx oc. i got 12179 in 3d06. So nothing spectacular there what you got. Haven't benched my sli yet can be bothered looking for 3d06 in one of my external hd to install it.

I read OCW's little review and I have to say that this card does benchmarks pretty well but in real games it sucks. They also reported that 8600GTS has 32 stream processors. Info and benchmarks:

I believe itzsaint was talking about 8800GTS in sli, not 8600, the 8800GTS 640mb is a fantastic card, and if you can find a 640mb cheaply from a good brand, then anyone will be extremly happy with it. I don't know about you, but I very much so enjoy playing Oblivion maxed with 8X AA , 16X AF and super sampling with HDR..it is amazing, and when you see BF2 with 32X AA enabled in nHancher, you'll be blown away, also I had an X1800XT before you, overclocked the pants off of it and it is not a patch on an 8800GTS, or probably a 8600GTS for that matter even.

First off Cowie.... WE ARE OCing an E6600..... NOT A QUAD! We wanted to over clock a 66 on AIR. And Mac.. LOL 12000 marks 06 on a GTX?!? this get close to 11500 STOCK! so who is low scored now? Do me two favors.... back up your crits with benchies and go look at the top 100 list in the OC forums.... look where this would sit.... Right with the quads, X6800s and GTXs.... So yea.... we are pretty happy with these marks.

PS.... E6600 Users please post higher marks and settings. These forums are for help not jealous people putting down tech shop machines.

PPS..... Tech shop computer = Very little money spent.... How much you into your system Mac?

Can some one take a sec and look at this it seems really low to me. I have done a lot of research and found several others that are benching with same rig almost 2k higher... what I am I doning wrong... should it be in the black PCIE slot instead of the Blue one and is there some bios settings I need to adjust or check... any help would be great.

My score with my Prior card Asus 7900 GT 512: 4612


Can some one please tell me if this is a correct benchmark or if something is wrong with the card? From what I have read I should be benching around 10k with this rig and the new 8800 card and the initiator of the thread benched 2k higher with about the same specs. Also the nTune I downloaded (international, the only one that will DL from NVIDIA.) will not launch, then locks up the system. All old drivers were removed prior to the installing of the new drivers. I am at a loss and completely disappointed with the results and the amount of money I have placed into this machine. Please help…

15k in 06 as soon as this build went to gether. More OC now on the GPUs and I am sure it woudl do 16 if I pushed the cpu more. This is my 24-7 game rig, so stabilty is the shinit. Thanks!

Macdaddy... whats it like always being right? Does it feel good? And no... only one person PM'd me and it sold locally for $1200.00. Im still happy with what we got out of it.
