i have an application that doesn't use 3d mode but benefits from faster gpu/mem clocks. it isn't being automatically overclocked when in use. i was wondering if you could add an inclusion list in the auto overclock settings so i can have higher clocks in this app and others.

Create Game Profile for that application and assign manual overclocking for it.

that's all well and good for a short term fix but i believe that a list box where i can just enter in the app name.exe to would be more beneficial. expecially if i use the same global settings for everything.

No. I have created game profile exactly for such things.

Please learn to use software. Game profiles work perfectly and it does exactly what you need. All it takes is 1 min to set up a profile.
