I didn't happen to see a thread about this anywhere and if I put this in the wrong spot, I do apologize.

But I noticed that there is a new DirectX 9 revision for Feb. 07 avaliable from Microsoft. Once again I can never find any documentation on what they actually changed or did, but I hear its always best to have the latest version on fresh formats.

Microsoft DirectX 9.0 - Feb. 2007

Is it benifical to remove gpu drivers b4 updating DirectX? I just re-installed windows, and put the last DX update on before gpu drivers, and for some reason I think I have better performance.

Or am i talking utter crap Lol. Install anywayz?

It doesn't really matter what you upgrade first.
