Default iPhone Look A-Like Surfaced - 02-01-2007, 13:46 | posts: 6,350

Seems like China has a new phone in development that looks pretty much like Apple's iPhone with Touch Screen functionality. It is made by a company called Meizu and it is known as M8. It is smaller...

I'd rather have the M8 based on the fact it sounds like it has better features.

Same here. It looks great. Maybe it won't have multi-touch but I think the DVD resolution screen and better camera make up for that.
Something to keep an eye on......

Windows > Mac on phones, it's obvious.

Hmmm. If it's not like what Popstation is to PSP, then I'm sold.

Mac Theme isn't Mac, just means you like those disgusting rip offs, I use the real thing and those themes, even the best of them look terrible to me.

I wont be getting either the i-phone or the m8. If you ask me, they are trying to put to much into one device, and its just not practical. Today it seems like the more gadgets they can cram into one device, the more sales it will get...

I have a cell phone capable of text, internet and video. When I want to listen to music, I have a 4GB mp3 player. Why would i need a phone that can do all of that and more? To me its just a gadget gimmick, nothing more really...

Believe it or not, there are a lot of people out there who want this.

There's a lot of people out there in the business section who want to have contacts and emails and sms, phone, all in the one device.

You've already got enough to carry as it is, if you can put all that into 1 device, all the better.

The phone isn't targeting teens or people who hardly use their phone other than talking.

It's purely designed for people who want to manage their schedule and life with their phone.

That M8 looks better in my opinion, also i bet you can run all sorts of apps and games on it that are compatible with Windows mobile.

But I don't think i'll be buying either of them, i like the more classic design of a phone, this just looks like a PDA

Totally true. All in one devices are a must since men do not usually use handbags and pocket space is quite precious...

I wont be getting either because its going to be a huge waste of money unless the price rapidly drops.

And this Mac vs Windows crud, they all have there pros and cons. Only time windows ever really wins over mac is 3rd party support and video games.
When you compare them on a phone at this point in time its pretty much just some fancy interface with a name that does the same thing.
