Default Getting computer parts in Israel - 01-31-2007, 15:11 | posts: 14 | Location: Scotland

Hello

I might be going to Israel soon and will need to source bits for my new PC. Don't want to build one here in the UK and then transport it overseas. Anyone know an online store that is based in or delivers cheaply to Israel?

Cheers

Not sure if all of these are only in Hebrew or not but here's some online retailers in Israel:

http://www.pandas.co.il/
http://www.ksp.co.il/main.php
http://www.noacomp.co.il/
http://www.plonter.co.il/
http://www.mardanit.co.il/

and here's a price search type site for Israeli retailers:
http://www.zap.co.il/

Thanks you for this. The KSP site is in english and seems to be a regular shop rather than a big etailer, yet their stock is not too bad. Ram expensive, monitors and CPUs what I would expect to pay.

Thanks again for this Makalu, very helpful.

(by the way; how did you find this? google.co.il?)

cheers

I've got a long list of sites worldwide that I've saved and gleaned from articles and forums over the years and they were on it...think all the Israeli sites came from one place though. Anyway, I try to keep the list valid and there was some dead links with .il domains in it so it was my pleasure...no problem Lib.

I live 10 minutes walk from KSP, and their price is usually because of dubious quality of their products. Not once i recieved refurbished or just plain wrong labeled ( i use this term lightly as to not to be sued) hardware.

In short, id say avoid them. NoaComp.co.il is a little more expensive, but a little more reliable.
pandas.co.il is also very good, and plonter have dissapointed me once.
Mardanit was an old favorite, the only problem is their limited selection.
