I am currently using 3D Mark 2000 and have managed to get a score of 3049 using the configuration below. I have seen some scores on the madonion website that are over 3700 and I have been advised by my friend that I can optimise the RAM in the BIOS settings on my machine.

The catch is that I cannot seem to find a website that advices how to change the BIOS settings for my chipset. Can anyone help on a location of this file or on how to get that bit extra from my machine?
I know my system is dying on it's feet and is way out of date but it will do until I can buy my Athlon
Cheers for any help

Unfortunatly I am not in the position 2 advise, as I also suck at tweaking, however I would suggest u d/l the GTU (GeForce Tweak Utility) and try and learn by experimentation as much as u can from that, it can be a pain staking process, 1 check, then benchmark, uncheck, check another, then benchmark, and this can go on 4 hours, and 2 be honest, I dont think I could be arsed myself 2 go through all that, 2 go from 3050 ish 2 3700 ish, specially as that is going 2 result in a severe loss of image quality, what do u use ur PC 4? gaming? if so what games? u should buy somthing LOL whatever it is buy something lol things r fairly cheap now uno! u could get a decent mobo and processor 4 about 150 uno? erm dunno what that is in US (I am from UK) 1 of the best mobo's around (the Epox EP-8KHA+) is like about 100 pounds over here (HOW CHEAP?) and u could get a nice athlon XP 4 under 100 as well, I dunno how poor u r, but c'mon man, if u r into gaming and benchmarking u gotta pull somet out of the bag here LOL :/
With pc100 and no FSB settings on your chipset, i feel it will be futile to even think about configuring your ram.
My old p3 500 was run on a 440BX chipset. The thing was very stable, but that is about all it was. There were hardly any optimising settings that could be done on the thing.

The most performance gain will be drawn from newer drivers, then optimise them. Pos try 21.xx up to 22.40. The higher ver's are tweaked for gf3.

The only way to really get more power is to upgrade. Lets face it, newer games will not run well at all on a 350Mhz based sys.
You can get a nice new rig for £300 - £500.
