It is interesting to note that I now have the same bits as you. Except my chip is the XP1500 (1.33G) and my mobo is the pro2 (k266a chipset). My ram is gonna be the same size. But i have the gf2ti (200ti) instead of the gf3ti.

So 6000 ey... hmmm
I reckon i could hit 5500 with mine after tweaking. GF2ti will be the bottleneck.

You could hit around 6500 with some mods and in the right OS. I guess a stripped down XP or ME. 2k usually knocks down the score by 50 -> 300 points, but i have known it to increase peoples scores. prob due to the fact it was a clean install.

Stick around till mid week next week. We shall compare scores again.

I'm using the 22.40s and gaming is working fine, and I only lost 7 pts on 2k1.

They are a driver version for a nvidia based graphics card. Check out the download section for those. You wont use them because you need the radeon drivers.

Could be beneficial as the newer dets are optimised for the gf3. May add another 50-500 points. If it doesnt, just uninstall them and go back to your previous ones.

My best score (3DMk2001) is 6464 with 21.83. I switched to 22.40 but have trouble with DDS file coruption. Can't seem to run 2001. 2000 scores 9700 and change.

22.40s were good, but I find 22.80 further improves 3d performance.
22.80 are the first drivers that allowed me to get over 8000 3dmark

Anyone else tried them ??

hmmm. That seems odd. With my Gainward GF3, I broke 6300 right outta the box. No OCing or tweaking whatsoever. Afterwards, I've hit 7420 as my highest so far.

Well, I have a Winfast GF3 so I think it's a little on the generic side. Oh well, with some tinkering I've gotten it up to 7008

Well, the winfast one isn't the worst, and you've gotta look at the fact that you're runnin' a ddr board. If the boards tweaked right, you should be able to beat my score hands down.
