i wonder if you can give me any info on as to why whenever i try to run the 3dmark 2k "game 2" benchmark "the adventure game"wont work, it just flicks at me then puts me back at the windows desktop, it runs the first helicopter game ok (i get around 35-45 fps at 1024x768 32bit in medium detail)
but game 2 will not work??
and i can never get a score of it as it always say's "congratulations your score is: N/A (thnk you very much)
Erm, 100 deg C ????

If you ment farenheight then i guess thats more believeable. But 100C will cause you all sorts of trouble, even burn out.

The benchmark will stress your sys to the brink, having a p2 350 an mx video card and 1G drives (prob slow arse ATA33 too) will cripple under this alot of the time. You will get scores, but very low ones. But if you have 100C on top of that, then i am suprised you havent blown something already !

yeah i meant farenheight (sorry bout that),100c would be pretty impossible i reckon
& yes the hdd's are ata33 but my mobo only supports that anyways,
the thing is though all benchmarks worked fine with me old 4mb agp (only low scores though )

no well it aint that important,
might by an ata66 pci card when i buy me new hdd
do me over till i buy me new mobo and 1ghz PIII,

cheers

If you are crashing back to the desktop, remember that 3dmark has a quality protection (Bug !) which exits the program when another application trys to use the cpu during test.

Make sure stuff like virus checkers and ICQ, MSN, and e-mail programs are off.
