My parents want a new bedroom TV. Flat screen, LCD, 26'', HDTV. I'm always asked to "find one" for them. I don't know much about HDTVs and LCDs.
I saw this one on sale for $999. http://www.2001audiovideo.com/produc...d=LC26D40&clr= It's a Sharp Aquos. Seems to look decent, and it's certainly cheaper than others of similar size. Comes with a wide variety of connectors and supposedly has a built in HD tuner. I don't know, what do you guys think? Is there anything better that's not too expensive? |

Good day,
Sharp lcd's look very nice and are of high quality, but they often have very low contrast like 500:1. In my opinion, Samsung lcd tv's are better in the price range of 999 dollar. Some of the Samsung lcd have contrast of 3000:1 and some newer models even have 5000:1. You will see the difference, crispier image and since most Samsung lcd's use PVA lcd, the color of the screen will be very/extremely beautifull too! Good luck! |
