Can someone help me with ATI tool settings for my TV tuner? -

Hi folks,
I bought a "Smart TV" Card off eBay. The website for it with the specs is here: http://www.sinovideo.com.cn/en/p/1/
The card came with a "WinDVR 3" installation disk that has a photo printed on it (as one would expect), but curiously had the card driver installation and the disk serial number on it, as well. It is marked "Not for retail sale".
After downloading the drivers for the card, my Device Manager has the card listed with two additional entries under "Sound, Video, and Game Controllers", as:
"SinoVideo PCI 2309 Proteus (7134) WDM Video Capture"
and:
"SinoVideo WDM TVTuner (TDA8275)".
My system is a Dell Inspiron 9200 with a Dothan 400 FSB 1.8 GHz CPU, 2 GB RAM, and a 128 ATI Mobility 9700 Radeon, which runs on the latest Omega drivers, and is managed by Ray Adams' "ATI Tray Tool".
I tried the card with the WinDVR3 software, and got only a black screen after the auto scan. I tried with the external antenna that was supplied, and all of the configuration settings checked several times.
Uninstalled, reinstalled, both drivers and software.
Tried Snapstream's Beyond TV software, with the same results, except that I could hear "snow", and after auto scan, there were channels that would not load at all (channels consistent with a TV in my area with an antenna.) But the channels that would load were black.
I tried several times, uninstalling and reinstalling, trying settings that didn't seem correct just in hope, but nothing.
I tried the whole thing all over again on an older notebook with a very old Nvidia card, running Win2kPro, with the same results. But while installing the Beyond TV software to give that one a try as well, it prompted me to update my old NVidia drivers, which I did. The end result was the same, but it made me wonder if maybe my video card settings are interfering with the function of the TV card.
I still feel that it's possible I have set something incorrectly, mostly because it appeared that the card was only receiving signal from channels that I would normally get with a simple antenna on a TV set.
I tried the S-Video input and hook it up to a digital camera and could view the photos.
I played around with some settings on the ATI Tool, and I could see "snow" on the TV video screen when I changed the contrast setting.
I have a series of photos up on my site that show the various tabs for the WinDVR software. I've tried two others, but used that one for the illustrations because the tabs are easier to navigate.
That set is located here:www.sterlingmetalworks.com\tv
A second set of photos is of the ATI Tool configuration tabs.
That set is located here:www.sterlingmetalworks.com\ati.
Hopefully someone can see something really obvious, call me a silly jackass, and point it out to me.
Thanks for looking.

You've GOT to be KIDDING me!!!
RAY ADAMS, the WRITER of the software of which I'm asking for help...BEGGING for help- has no doubt seen my post here and can't even give me the time of day to tell me to piss off?
ANYTHING?!
ANYTHING?!
ANY-****ING-THING AT ALL?!!!
Look, I'm normally a really easy going and relaxed guy, and I go out of my way to help people whenever I can. I demonstrate graditude and curtosy when I ask for help.
In this particular case, I have even gone through the trouble of posting nearly 60 screen shots just to make it completely easy for someone to help me.
What do I get for my efforts to make it as easy as pie to help me?
NOTHING.
I just can't believe it.
If my ATITools tab settings have nothing to do with my TV tuner problem, and I'm completely ignorant and very far beneath all of you on the understanding of any of this, then at least say so.
Say ANYTHING! Tell me to go **** in my hat...It doesn't matter.
-At least I'll know you looked at it!

Nobody "owes" me anything.
I'm simply disappointed in the lack of courtesy to at least let me know that you can't help me, or...to tell me to go **** in my hat.
-Either way, it's an ACKNOWLEDGMENT!
But thanks for reading.

This card probably doesn't do hardware encoding. Like my all-in-wonder. i had the same problem with it.
Most PVR apps doesn't support software encoding by default and since most of them record when you are watching (so you can pause and resume TV show) you will get a black screen.
Getting a PVR app to work with a software encoding card is not an easy task. I tried this summer but could not get SageTV, GBPVR and BeyondTV to work with my all-in-wonder.
I will try gain this fall when i will have more time. Anyway good luck.
