Default Choosing the right CPU.... - 07-25-2006, 18:56 | posts: 2,319 | Location: Germany - But British

Hi guys..

As you all know the price of CPU's has dropped beyond beleive, infact the drop is so much that its time to hit the top end...

So here goes...

You guys think that their will be a noticable difference between

AMD Athlon64 X2 4600+ boxed S 939 2,4GHz Manchester price = 224,89 EUR

to a

AMD Athlon64 X2 4400+ boxed S 939 2,2GHz Toledo price = 470,21 EUR

Only differnce I see is 2 x 128/1024 kb Cache for the 4400 and 2 x 128/512 kb Cache for the 4600...

Think the cache values will make much diffrence, the price on the 4600 is amazing and can be clocked to 4800 Speeds with ease..

there will be NO noticable difference. trust me. you need to have like a 3ghz+ clock speed on those chips to really notice a difference.

Ya the X2 4600+ is only one step up from the X2 4400+. you wouldn't see anything noticeable.
