Righto .. here are some screenies that I took during the Scrimmage. The images are sized to 800x600 to keep the bandwidth a tidbit acceptable to modem-users. The are rescaled from 1280x1024
Ok, Lucky, ARP,
WTF were you thinking 4 on 2? This is not how you pick a team any ******* can win under those terms.

Regardless, thats very poor sportsmanship. Anyone can camp with a team like that and coast. Your team mates with lesser skill learned nothing, and your clan mates on the other team were not treated fairly.

I assume either you didn't want to play fair or don't know the game well enough to know how to switch teams. Either way, if this type of thing happens again and a team balance is ignored your out. We play as a team for Guru3d not terrorist or counter terrorists. I really don't see how that benefitted the clan.

This message was edited by Bugsy on 21 Jul 2001 06:18 PM

bugsy what are you talking about? teams were 3 on 3 until wildfire came, and since then they were 3 on 4 (and as last screenshot shows, he was not on the winning team either).
here's a screenshot from the start of the game

after several attempts still can't get the image to be displayed properly
here's an url http://www.students.tut.fi/~galeh/de_dust.jpg
Well, as I can see, there are many difficulties to fix!

First of all, Lucky do you have the CS-Serverinstructions??? I believe you don't have, because there is just a simple hack in the console to enable that teams even themselves! Send me an EMail and I'll mail you the instructions, so that you might print them and setup the server before the others join!

Second, I have to agree with Bugsy, that those teams were nothing else than useless for the clan! One cannot learn anything, if there are 4 on 2 teams! There is a key called *TAB*, where one can find out the team situation before one picks up a team and joines!

Third, I think this would not have happend if everybody would look up the forums regularly, because our Clan-Admins Bugsy and Malachim do a great job to provide you with the latest information about upcoming events!

You might tell me now 'Ah, shut up, you didn't join!', but I had a reason for my not showing up! And I told Malachim and Bugsy before the scrim!

Cheers!

BTW If there is anybody who doesn't like to play games on saturdays, he/she/it should leave the clan, because this is not the way you behave in a clan-community!
