Thanks to Robsal I have one less day to learn this thing. Plus now I have to fix the nephews pc. Anyone else wishing to play some tribes 2 or UT on sunday get on ICQ if you aren't there how are we supposed to help you?

Yeah thanks to me I alse have one day less to practise <IMG SRC="smileys/wink.gif">. I'm still downloading the darn thing (damn 56k Modem). 
 
Any news on a server yet? Someone with Broadband wanna volunteer??

I have broadband and I would be happy to host a game, however with cable I get 1.5Mbps download but only 400K upload... if enough want me to do it I will.

I have to fix not one but two computers tonight. One I just have to format c: and install win 98 the other? After that it's time to learn counterstrike, anyone up for crash coursing a newbie?

hmm. well i have a 10 mbps in and out, so i guess i could host a game some time. howether mauybe it would be easier for us to just find a decent server with ff on (so we could vote ppl out if some ass comes to screw the game) and play there. 
btw when you post suggestions for a game, always post ip of the server you want to play the game on... otherwise how are we supposed to find you guys? <IMG SRC="smileys/evil.gif">

I'm noticing most of the members on the page don't have quake 3. (Sorry Aris). Is it worth our while to start playing this games, as it is getting a little old.

we are all swiss gueys so we play on europe servers; our mostly used one is: 152.39.100.33:27024 (GameOnline.it DUST_ONLY) 
the 2nd most used one is called braindeath.ch, i don't know the ip, but if you filter all games with the map "cs_rats2" you'll just find abuot 5-10 and then serch for the name and join 
 
if you'd post you'r ip we'd try to come aswell for shure, but GameOnline.it is not bad 
 
one thing:

Yep , I'm organising it..(looks like Malachim will be doing it so far, you'll be able to leave your computer on as a server when you goto work won't you?). Check the Clan Page.......(http://www.guru3d.com/clan/ ). I'll post the server IP in the news as soon as we have a definate server.

ARP, personally I'm not religious, and what you say doesn't bother me. Can you relax a little though? This is a hardware/software site that is also developing a clan, religion is more a personal and private issue here. Just a suggestion.

I'll be glad to host thkis week's game. I can start the server and runn it all day no sweat. Since we are all over the world (literally) I want to find out when the earliest people will be playing so I can have the machine up and ready. I will post the IP at that time as well because my IP is not dedicated so it may change from now til then.
