Hey glenboy, nice score, but I think listing your RAM would be better in Super PI, instead of graphics cards

Also, having CPU-Z open in the SS would help too

hey compgeek you have caused some stirrings with your conroe , i would imagine it takes a bit of getting used to a new motherboard / processor format as i remember when i got the dfi board the bios looked like gobbledygook, i think a lot of people are going to move over to the dark side (intel) i am personally going to wait till the dfi board comes out for the conroe and then jump in , i really like the idea of some ddr2 8500 ram

The above score was done with one core only, with 2 cores it was a bit higher (28.375).

nice doublee. what timings were you running on the mem? dothan can get an enourmous increase if you give it more bandwith.

fsb 236x12 1:1 (only super pi) 234x12 for 3dxx, 228 for gaming...
Have tried variants like:
fsb 250x11 1:1 , 254x11 = crash
the above with 2.5 2 3 5 settings.

I'm not sure but I believe that the chipset is the bottleneck, amd mobos apparently oc much better with memory...
My system gets hickups when the bus speed starts to exceed 990 MHz.
Maximal vcore for the cpu is 1.6 in the bios. With some volt modding I might get 1.7 or 1.8 before frying it, my xp-90c can handle some more heat, other components may not...

I would appreciate some tips to get up the bandwidth though, now it tops at 5000+ with sandra.
The 3500LL is completely immune against voltage changes, 2.65 or 2.85 no diff...

The x12 multiplier has worked out the best so far and it gives me 2.83gig on the cpu. Have also tried 237x12 but that was like riding Tjernobyl...

When you have access to hardware that is currently not available to the general public you are usually placed under an NDA as to not give everybody innacurate perceptions on the new hardware. Because a lot of the time there is a last minute revision before the product goes out the door.
