Hehe, now let's see who can put up some screaming benches or die trying

Now people, start pushing those SLI and Crossfire rigs....

SLI 7900GT's did it for me, my X1800's suprisingly aren't as strong at 06 I am only able to get about 8.1k with them

You can sit in the "honarary 10k" section if you can at least get close

Wow... those are some intensely good scores. Just above the 10k mark, but still counts! This is seriously making me consider SLI.

Welcome VOCCH Nice score What clocks were you running and voltages?

Kon$ole if you step up to SLI you may want to uprade that CPU too But even still your setup will be a very solid base for a kicka$$ game rig

Craptacular: damn nice score, 10k 3Dmark06, i can only get 6500 with my single 7900GT @ 700/1780 . Shouldn't have tried to save a meager 40usd and went with the SLI board instead of Nforce4 Ultra-D . Just an suggestion though why don't you lower the CPU multi and overclock the RAM, that's the reason why you bought the G.Skill F1-4000USU2-2GBHZ right ? Those RAM could go like 270+ mhz 2.6v. I got like 2k CPU score 3Dmark06 with my X2 3800+ @ 2.8Ghz with mem divider 5:6. May be then you will start up 11k 3Dmark06 club lol.

Hey thanks man (see? we can get along) I can almost start the 11k club now with that run my FX-60 was only clocked to 2.9Ghz because of the temps on the CPU. But my new water block arrived and I am able to get to 3.2Ghz with it now. Temps are still a bit on the high side (53C load) but I usually only clock it to 3.2Ghz when benching. Normally it stays at 3Ghz for a nice round number with temps of 46C load

The cards are at 1.55v and pencil memory mod BTW.

I have my 7900GT 1.55v Vcore also, stable @ 720/1700 without memory pencil mod, though temp is hovering around 80 degree celcius, might have to think about water cool it soon, what is your gpu block on those card?

They both are wearing this...

Well, here's my highest run yet:

10,518 - http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=275386

CPU @ 2.91ghz. Just wish i had phase so i could get the CPU over 3ghz. Will improve on this score soon though, got some headroom left in my cards.

They whine a bit then I just.........them...lol....

I wish my X1800's were better at 06 but they just seem to be better at 05. I'm closing in on 17k with them in 05, but am having big problems getting even 9k with them in 06.

Yup, i no. But i cant see me getting a new CPU till conroe tbh. The FX-60's are crashing in price atm (gone down £200 in the last 2 weeks) cos of AM2, but thats still a couple of hundred quid on a CPU even if i sell my 48, when most likely i will move to intel in august if conroe really is as good as it seems.

Guess i will just have 2 b patient for once!

NO!....not that.......must......upgrade......NOW!....lol.....

TBH the only reason I got the 60 was because I bought a bunch of stuff but ended up returning a lot of it and was left with store credit. I was going to wait till Conroe too, but I had to either spend the money I had in credit or lose it, so I figured what the hell? It should make a nice little toy to play with in the mean time

Indeed it will. Ive missed not having an FX since my 55. I love the 4800+ dont get me wrong, and its done well to get to 2.96ghz which is as far as i can push it, but having the unlocked multi really helps tbh. But the FX-60 was £750 compared to the 4800+ at £450 when i got it. Which was ridiculous. Considering my FX-55 brand new just over a yr ago, when it was still top of the pile was £500.

Yeah the prices for the new stuff is insane, but I got my FX-60 for about $900 USD (about $300 drop in price here) and actually only had to come up with an additional $200 out of pocket with my store credit. I'll probably end up just keeping it for my 7900GT SLI setup and get Conroe and 2 of whatever cards are at the top of the heap at the end of summer

2x7950 GX2 ? lol, hope by that time Nvidia release driver support for quad SLI. And from recent news the 7950 GX2 aren't outrageously expensive consider its specs (cheapest version from XFX is suggested to be $550).

Btw what is your water cool setup craptacularone ? last time I saw your setup it was the Bigwater SE but you probably changed to a new one right ?

I'm currently running this one....
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...455179&CatId=0
But I changed the CPU water block to this....
http://www.frozencpu.com/ex-blc-204.html
and both of the GPU water blocks have been upgraded to these....
http://www.frozencpu.com/ex-blc-184.html

I'm also running alcohol through it to help keep temps in line.

And I'm also hoping by the time I upgrade to Conroe ATI's R600 or Nvidia's G80 will be out
