Hello folks,

Im running win2k and win98 on a dualboot, using 2 HD's C: for Win98 and D: for Win2k, I barely use Win98. The thing is that sometimes when rebooting the system and running Win2k, I get a terible 'HD-lag' the disk seems to keep running but there aren't any processes running.. And I'm sure that it isn't a Virus or something of that kind.

Tia.

Yes your system will benefit fomr the RAM upgrade, but do have service pack 2 installed? And is your hard dirve an Ultra/ATA66 or 100? Becaus in the initial release of Win2K pro it didn't have support for either of those speeds, ther was a regietry hack you had to do to enable it, but its all fixed woth the updated service packs.
