I have a very hard problem! When i try to connect to a CS game it takes a lot of time and after a while it says! Connection attempt closed!!! What is wrong?? When i do a retry after that i´m getting in!<br>

A stab in the dark. Firewall and port problems. Or behind a router.

Using Norton Personal Firewall! No router or anything! I have tried to disable the firewall but it doesn´t work<br>

Maybe i should have been more specific.<br>

What connection do you have ?<br>
You running home network or just a single pc ?<br>
Have you got the most up-to-date game patches ?<br>
Can you access the internet ok ?<br>
Can you ping the servers that you try to connect to ?<br>
What OS are you running ?<br>

Disabling the firewall is on thing to do. Another is to make sure the game is set to your connection speed or below. CS should be at version 1.3 now. Connect only to servers with a low ping. Try empty servers as well, just to troubleshoot.
