I have a problem connecting to a server. It says :"cannot play custom game cstrike until it is installed". And i'm sure i have CS installed??? HELP???

Actually I got it to work, but now every time i try to connect to any server it says "connecting" for 30 secs... Then it flips back to the server list screen saying connection failed after 4 retries... HELP???

In the config of the game , did you specify the type of connection you have? <IMG SRC="smileys/wave.gif">

What do you mean with "what type of connection"? Do you mean the speed of my modem?

2/3 of the times i connect to a server my call ends 10 secs after the initializing and downloading part. my modem is 56 k. its frustrating to dial again. arrgh. i solved the other problems thanks to you <IMG SRC="smileys/smile.gif"> can you help me? thanks a lot.<br>

Try running another internet app. IE for example. In the background. Some ISP's are rigged to detect people connecting to gameing sites. WON etc and disconnect you. Having another connection running (pref low bandwidth) can fool your ISP and connections are not terminated.<br>

Unless CS is disconnecting you (i doubt that) in which case your gonna have to live with it !
