Mod your bios and get rid of the delta clocks, you will get better scores after that

That resistor that is supposed to be replaced with a 50kohm, what is it by default?

Taken from vr-zone. Replace the resistor with the 50k ohm will give you 1.5v and do your regular +.15 mod to make it 1.65v. Before that you have to remove the ovp .

lol, even for the guy from xtremesystems who figured out some of the mods had his 7900GTs dying on him (he had his vcore @ 1.55v), let's just hope you guys won't meet the same horrible fate.

let's hope not. I don't run them at 1.55v all the time. Right now I've taken off the 1.55v and have them at 1.4v 600/1600 for my 24/7 gaming clocks. Which is exactly what EVGA's signature series cards are clocked at. In SLI that is more than enough for any game.

That is the worse mod I have seen ever, its unnecessary to remove the resistors you can indeed get high vcore with out hard modding, you wont find a how to on any forum as I worked it out but with the comp getting close I will be keeping that to my self.

Also the ovp with 1.55v mod rises to 1.65

Geek you are a little hasty with wr's buddy the wr atm for 79gt is held by Mickey mouse at 12xxx (even though I agree with you him having quad cpu’s which is hardly very impessive) until Conroe scores can be uploaded to future mark, they are not official till then as future mark checks the score before it is posted on the hall of fame and by then every one will have a intel, I would also expect Jason the take it with a Conroe with his cascades as well there is no reco for different cpu.s if one want to claim wr’s in 06 you haft to take no 1 with the video card one is using and uploaded to the orb and using approved drivers and readily available components not es’s As you found out on xs with your thread wile I don’t necessarily agree with that it is a fact of life. Most of the top over clockers have not really bothered with conroes yet as they cant upload and a orb means everything to them they live for the wr's

http://www.futuremark.com/community/...fame/3dmark06/

Craps get that 10800 on the orb m8 with app drivers its no2 behind Jason well done buddy that’s some very nice tweaking m8! Be very interesting on your 6700 when you get it

Hey, I resent that statement. I didn't kill me 7900 GT at all. I just sold it because the resistors I removed upped my temps by 10C, and that just doesn't work when you have the card OCed like I did.

Thanks But as for approved drivers, that run was done with a modded set of 91.28's And my E6700 should be here Friday (technically today) According to my delivery tracking #'s it should arrive at 4:30pm

Sorry man, my appologies I should have said "doing that mod abruptly halted any more OCing adventures with your perticular card"

no probs m8 when you finish ya bench save the sucker asap dont worry about the screene and up load when back to stock, but even so very impressive m8, and it takes a lot to impress me

Alex I though you killed it as well with that mod m8 didn’t you post that I seem to remember that? but even if you did that does not detract from you over clocking skill anyone can get suckered into a bad mod specially when vr backs it, anyhow no biggy your 11,7 05 was also a pretty decent run back then (older driver and not much cpu)that was still one of the best single 79 runs I have seen to date and i dont think anyone has beat it yet except me

Alright then, here is my newest lowly and unimpressive Conroe score.

[hwbot] 12525 - 2x eVGA 7900 GT SLI @ 760/975 | Intel Core 2 Duo (Conroe) E6600 ES @ 3.935GHz | 2x 1GB G.Skill DDR2 @ 437MHz 3-3-3-10 [/hwbot]

Yes, phrozin, but I am using higher 7900 GT clocks than just about anyone on the ORB. And Mickey Mouse's Score was 12087, Im at 12525 now.

Amazing numbers Lane kinc and overklock are da men m8 impressive indeed, wonder what we will see when the scores are able to upload can’t wait

geek I do agree with you m8 about jason duel duel cores is hardly impressive m8 but don’t think because he hasn’t clocked the cards he cant that would be silly he is one of the top 5 over clockers on the planet and not to be taken lightly, I think at the time he ran that he was trying to keep it all on air if some one beat him on the orb he would answer you can take that to the bank,

It is a bit hypocritical on your part, really its no different than you with a conroe you have a good score because you have no cpu comp yet your the only dude with 79gt's on a conroe that’s a fact its intel which is the star there, a fact that will change around the 25th of July as all the guys on a budget will probably be on 6600’s on gt’s (probably one of the hottest contested record going) it will be interesting to see craps on a 6700 so if you want to gauge your runs gauge with craps 10.8 on a opti to your opti at 10.1 I think craps wins that one. I am not having a go at you m8 I am trying to state the facts which you seem to be over looking you really don’t think the over clocking community will let you walk of in to the sun set with there records do you to take that you will need 800+ core's if you think any different you just kidding your self but remember I told you so

eva2000 and your point is?? I know some one who is expecting the same
