Hi

I think about building up a cost effective high performing server, using dual processors. Now I wonder if anybody of you knows, if the Celeron 850 CPU is multiprocessor capable or if I need to buy two Pentium 3's to realize this.

Cheers

Yes, you can run two celerons, but the lesser amout of cache will hurt a servers performance quite a bit. A slower p3 with more cache would be the better way to go.
