I have a pentium 200mmx, 48meg ram , diamond stealth 3d pro 4 meg card. Will a 3dfx card, like voodoo3 3000 help me in games like Halflife, Unreal tourny, and the such or am i stuck untill i up grade mobo & pros & ram? Thanks for any help

You are very dependent on your cpu. I would suggest not putting $ into that system,unless you plan on transfering a new vidio card to another board and cpu later

I would recommend a voodoo2 card for your 200mmx. I have a 233 and it made a world of difference for me. GPL went from unplayabe to 25fps. You should be able to find a voodoo2 at pricewatch for 60 bucks or so. Also I have the same ram and 2d card as you. If you aren't ready to upgrade you can't go wrong with the voodoo2
