can any1 help me with my scores 3dmark 05

asus p4p800-x
seagate 7200rpm 80 gig w 2mb cach
2 geil 512 mb ddr400 dual channel config
1 sb audigy

and my score is 3722 is this bad
my settings are AA=of Af=Of image quality =high performance
latestl drivers on vcard from nvidia.com
latest board bios and drivers
my 6800 is not overclocked but i unlock the textures it supports 16 right now
is there sumting wrond i red that a 6600 gt scores abt 3500
and a 6800 gs is 4000
what is wrong/>??

nothings wrong, your cpu isnt very fast which doesnt help. Otherwise score seems fine, i only managed 4200 with my 6800NU clocked to 410mhz core nd 860mhz mem (no pipes unlocked though) that was with a 3ghz p4. Try getting the core the 375 and the mem to 800. Should egt the score over 4k

Your not going to get good scores with budget nvidia cards.. It's the geforce2MX revolution all over again. If you have a 6800Ultra or x850xt pe, then you should score in the 5K range.. Whats limiting you is your cpu @ that point.

yup ur proceso is definately holiding you back. im scoring 4192 with my overclocked 600gt, and i dont really have that good of a rig

That processor should overclock to the 2.9-3.0GHz range easily enough, the GPU to about 400/800 or so, and with that it should be enough for 4000 points. I achieved over 6000 in 3DMark05 with an overclocked AthlonXP+6800 Ultra, so it's possible to get a good score with a weaker CPU.
