Default amd 64 3000+ Problem in 3dmark03 - 01-08-2006, 19:16 | posts: 1

hey guys, i have an amd 64 3000+ with an msi k8n neo2-F motherboard along with 1 gig of corsair value ram and a 6800 128mb agp 8x graphics card.
-On 3dmark03 i scored 8000 with my graphics card.(I have previously reached 11,000 and i don't know why i can't reach that right now)
-Problem: On my cpu score i received 198 cpu marks !! THAT LOW!!, I have previously hit 800 cpu marks. I reached 198 cpu marks with my processor at stock. I have just overclocked it from 1.8 to 2.0 now, but i doubt that would be the difference of 500 cpu marks if i ran 3dmark03 again.

Does anyone know why this is? My brother thinks it might be because there was a power surge the other day and my computer was on, but I'm not sure.

Also, when i go to control panel, display, and i look up my graphics card, under my graphics card bus it says "PCI". Not pci-express, pci. And my card is in the only agp slot in my computer. Would my computer even run if my graphics card was in the pci slot? lol can someone please help me.
