oh so you want it to be like 133x6=798mhz?
durons and older athlons are known for their "lacking stability" of fsb overclocks. I can only get my 700 duron stable at 105mhz max. i got it now at 10x103mhz=1030....heheh
also....another note. this is how you'd have to do it if you really wanted to

1-unlock your L1 bridges on your duron with a pencil
2-since you're overclocking the fsb it still is overclocking so i'd suggest investing in some arctic silver 2 paste and a decent heatsink/fan
3-chagne your memory to 100mhz, because whatever you change your system fsb to it will not only affect your cpu it will also affect your memory i.e. 800(8x100)cpu, 100memory----798(6x133)cpu, 133cpu.see what i'm saying
4-take it one mhz at a time and watch your temp.
5-also about the fsb change you'll also be afffecting your pci and agp buses. you better hope your soundcard, videocard and any other card in your pc can handle the higher bus speeds.
i think i'm done.....good luck

This message was edited by WeaZel on 13 Jun 2001 02:29 PM
