i just built my home theater and wanted to be able to play games through it because of the sound however when i try to do the minijacks to rca i get a lot of humming even when nothing is playing my dvd player tv cd play everythingis fine i think the connections are bad or somthing what is the best way to hook up the 5.1 to a home theater

I find any wires or anything running by my speaker wires wrek havoc on my sound. Presently my room fam is causing some interference.

I believe that has a coaxial digital output (or does it have an optical, or both?). Anyway, You would hook the digital output to the AC-3(Dolby Digital) input on your receiver.
