New here, need advice

Hi, I am new here and new to benchmarking.

I have an amd64 3000+, with 1 gig ram (2x 512 pc2700 ddr) and an Asus X800XL 256 AGP card. MSI K8MM ILSR mobo (ms 6741), latest bios and drivers in via 4in1's

I am not oc'ing anything and my 3dmark05 score is 3718 using the default benchtest.
16 running processes
Fresh XP Pro instal
5.10 drivers

Is this a good or bad score? I didn't notice as much of an improvement in games as I expected when I updated from my old nvidea Ti4800 to the 800 XL. Yes they look much better, but FPS isn't as high as I hoped.

dunno much about in-game performance of your card ... but your 3dmark scores are okay .... it would have been a bit better with a more powerful processor and a motherboard with greater memory bandwith. ..... but its normal nonetheless ....
