Diamond Viper 2 driver help

Hi I have a Diamond Viper 2 video card 32mb with S3 Savage chipset. Does anyone know the best driver I can get for this card? I have a lot of problems such as game crashing.

you see i have my stealth 64 pci 964 card installed i then proceed to load the driver then i restart good right? 
no. 
when my desktop starts to load my computer freezes! 
what do i do??? 
 
im running windows 98se. 
 
please help!

Depends on which version of windows you are using. 
 
For windows 9x/ME, the newest drivers from S3(although they fix a few small problems for some) are by no means the fastest and are pretty much bug-fixing exercises. In my opinion the best driver is <A HREF="http://jgc.homeip.net" TARGET=_blank>JGC's</A> unified/tweaked driver set. It has quite good stability for most people and offers good performance. 
 
If you are using Windows XP, I would definitely suggest getting the latest drivers from <A HREF="http://www.s3graphics.com" TARGET=_blank>S3 Graphics</A>. They are still quite buggy however and some still have crashes playing some games. However, its better than what comes with windows XP anyway and includes OpenGL support also.
