with my system stock i scored a 8465 ... i overclocked just the cpu and gpu ... the cpu is running at 2.64 VERY STABLE, and the graphics at 505/1350 ... i scored 8821. any advice with my memory modules, i am going to read up on it now, but wanted some pros advice. my computer temps are also very good in the end too.i think max temp at load it like 50 with these settings.

AS you probably realize, the OCd score is not optimal! Something is therefore holding you back. Most likely, you have pushed one of the (video) components too far. Try running the gpu and the memory @ slower speeds. When you force too much speed through the gpu, it will throttle down by itself to stock speeds under load or it may hang for a few seconds during a benchmark, hence killing your score.
Grab Rivatuner and check your gpu/memory speeds during the benchmark to see if they stay the same. Also, make sure your vidcard doesn't get too hot. Hot cards also throttle down.
I'm not sure what advice you expect on your mem modules. How do you run your overclock? Did you simply increase the hypertransport (formerly known as FSB) and raise the memory accordingly? Or did you use a divider? Have you relaxed any timings? Do you wanna raise your oc even further? If so, if you run into instability (as usual, take Prime95 to check!), try raising your memory voltage in small steps, if that doesn't help, lower your timings.

i basically went into the bios and the jumperfree settings and changed the cpu freq to 220 and left the voltage on auto ... it brought my cpu to 2.64 ... it idles at 30-31 and running sandra lite 25 times (2 cpu test) in a row my cpu went up to 44c anf stayed that way... it also maintained around 1.456 volts... is that ok? althgouth i tried to change the memory voltage to 2.6 and i got this weird artifact crap when i booted the pc ... as of now the memory is still set on auto which is ocming in at 400mhz 2.5-3-3-5 ... ddr voltage is AUTO and so on ...i decreased my gpu a little to 500/1350 and it seems good. temp gets to around 70ish.

Im confused you mean you increaded the HTT right? wich normaly scales up the memory speed with it unless you use a divider. Maybe your bios has a auto divider or somthing.
the HTT is the "FSB" as stated above for the 64's it has a default multiplier of 5x so you have a 1000Mhz Hypertransport stock, increasing it too much without lowering the multiplier can cause problems.
That same number is what determins your ram clock speeds.
200(htt) X 5(htt multiplier) = 1000 hypertransport
200(htt) X 2(dual channel memory) = DDR400 memory
so without a divder at 220 your running DDR440 speed on your ram.
and that also means you have a 1.1Ghz HTT right now if that divder is not auto or set to somthing lower.
As long as everything shows stable and temps are good, then your fine. If you run into problems tho you probably need to lower the ram divider and/or the htt multiplier

i basically went into the JumpFree Configuration and the Over Clock Profile ... there i switched it to AI Overclock and at 10% which changed it to 220 ... everything else stayed auto and the cpu voltage is is 1.5 ... also i noticed when i run CPU-Z my pc sometimes locks up, any auggestions? also in cpuz, my memory is at 220 frequency, cpu/12, 2.4-3-3-5-16-16 ... let me know, thanks.

It seems to me dnbteknic that your memory is overclocked at 220mhz, you might be able to get them up to 250mhz if you wanted but it would probably need to loosen timings a little and perhaps increase the dimm voltage - it definately seems like you system has more to give.
Read up on the stickies here at g3d in the A64 section and then push it a little more. Running a divider is always an option, but the memory will run 1:1 then its better

kinton,
this is how my overlock reads in my bios ...
Overclock Profile -- AI Overclock
Overclock Options -- Overclock 10%
NOS Option -- Disabled
CPU Frequency -- 220
PCI Express Clock 100MHZ
DDR Voltage -- AUTO
Chipset Voltage -- +1.5v
HT Voltage +1.2v
CPU Multiplier -- AUTO
CPU Voltage -- AUTO
also in my DRAM Settings it is set to auto... in windows CPUZ reads my memory at 220MHZ. let me know if i should change anything. thanks.

cpu-z locks your pc up??? thats like the simplest lil program did you run superpi, prime95 any stability tests? also that AI oc isnt very reliable, its actually kinda horrible before i learned to oc mine wouldnt even run stable at 10% ... now i have over 25% oc with no problems what so ever

My suggestion would be to stop using an Auto Overclock feature. They almost always have problems.
Do your research and see where others have OCed the same CPU to. What type of cooling they used. Ram timings are very important so pay attention to those. vcore and load temps need to be monitored so things don't overheat, 60C @ 100% load would be all I would want to see on that CPU.
That OCZ memory you have, what is the recommended max voltage. Raising the memory voltage can sometimes help stabilize an overclock.
You have a good start going. Keep it up. Google some info on OCing your chip. "Overclock* 4000" would be a good start.

thanks ... so fat i am manually ocing it to 2.7 but my memory speeds were detected at ddr333 ... do i know just keep upping the ddr voltage? hht is at 225 and cpu multiplier is at 12 (max) ... i want to get it to 2.8 and run sandra soft ... i tested it yesterday at 2.64 and it was very stable at 44c during the whole process. i am running this memory btw 2GB Dual Channel Kit PN - OCZ4002048ELDCPE-K OCZ EL DDR PC-3200 / 400MHz / Platinum / Dual Channel

i currently have it at 2.82 htt @ 235.5 and memeory frequency at 235.5 ... my ddr votage is at 2.7 running at ddr400 with 2.5-3-35 for the detected speeds ... anything else i should do? my temps are still very very good but i am going to run another intensive test using sandra lite.
