My last Leadtek 6800 Ultra died last saturday and i went back to the retailer and got another one. This one clocks even higher.
That Asrock board rocks! With better cooling, i can OC my cpu to 2.7Ghz with ease. It's very hot in my own room here.
But 2.5 is still good, while sometimes not that stable.

I could get it to run @ 2.7 Ghz and with benching it even beats the FX-57 but because I can't increase the CPU Voltage any further, it's quite unstable. My system would hang after 5 minutes when running @ 2.7Ghz (270x10). There are rumors that Asrock will add more Vcore settings within the next bios updates.
But still.... ONE HELL of a board for just 60 euro's. According to many reviews, this chipset is just as fast or faster than the NF4 Ultra/Sli.
It's time to take Asrock serious this time boys...

is it just me, or do those scores seem a tad low for a 2.5ghz cpu and an overclocked 6800 ultra? Especially the 3d01.

Newer cards suck at 3dmark01 sadly...my old 9700 pro beats that score, got 20k once. Although for some reason Nvidias' 6/7xxx series all run like balls in 3dmark01, ati's r4xx randge still produces some pretty nifty scores...i've seen an x700 get over 30k in '01

NEVER! lol.........You 03 and 05 scores are ok but no offense your AQ3 and 3dmark01 scores need a LOT of work. I know you won't like what I am about to say but maybe the Asrock board is part of the reason you scored so low in those two? lol I had to say it.

Keitosha, i think you might not like the link im gonna post here.
Its a review from THG for the ASROCK 939Dual-SATA2
http://www.tomshardware.com/motherbo...916/index.html
according to them its a tad slower then the NF4 chipsets, like 5%, even though i am impressed with your results
your score in 3DMark 05 is higher then mine in 3D03

Hell, I'd be impressed if he beat my Aqua and 01 scores, cause its a bit pathetic for a Ultra to be beat by a 6800nu

Aye, your 3d01 and Aqm scores are a tad low. Check my score, taken with the 6800gt/Ultra and a Winchester @ 2.4GHz, they easily beat you. But your 3d03/05 scores are higher! What driver are you using? Are your background programs off?
Hmm, need to crack them 6k for 3D05. Maybe with those new 80.xx drivers....

Turned off all background crap and i'm using 81.26, but it could be my Windows.
You see, before i got this board, i've use a Nforce 2 Ultra board and i haven't installed a new Windows when i installed this new Uli chipset based board. To my surprise Windows booted without any problems.
The fact is that i'm too lame atm to to a fresh install. Perhaps i will do that when it's weekend.
But 3DMark2001SE is somewhat very weird, some with a GF4 will get higher scores than mine, some with better GPU's are getting lower scores than mine.
But even so.... it's the gaming performance that counts and that's great!
EDIT: It could be my memory, since it's not running in DC.

I've heard that 3DMark2001SE really loves a high FSB. Perhaps that's the problem.
Well, it's not a problem though. I will do a fresh new Windows install within a few days and we will see how that turns out.
Still, 3Dmark2001 is a weird benching prog sometimes.
