I put a thread up last month and it has gone!

I still have the same problem, ATT say's it is OC'ing my card, but ATI CCC is not showing it as happening!

I am also running the new ATT and the new ATI drivers + CCC.

Any advice?

Hi Ray, not sure if you remember me from last month?

I did ask you if you wanted me to pop some picture on here, but with no reply!

Anyway, on XP (32bit) when ever I changed the OC via ATT, it always showed this in the ATi CCC Overdrive section and thus knew that it was OC'ing correctly.

But with XP64 it does not do so at all, so thus I do not really know if the card is OC'ing correctly.

I always use a default setting for the Pro speed's, as this way any desktop work etc is at lower speed's and the change the setting's via ATT to the XTPE setting's for games.

At current I think that the card is running at XTPE speed's as default, as there is no proof of change via the ATi CCC as it used to do.

I have added pictures below and a break down.

The card is set to pro speeds - not showing it via the CCC overdrive?

ATT with the setting's for the OC and above results via ATi CCC.

Ok, now with the XTPE setting's

As you can see it has not changed (P.S this is not the same image as the 1st one, as it has a different time stamp in the preff's) and show's the correct setting's for the XTPE.

ATT showing the XTPE setting's.

I hope this helps a little bit and can always add more info if needed.

Just let me know - as stated before.

Hope that you guys can sort this out.

Thanks

Spike

If you think ATT unable to overclock your board, do not use it! If you belive CCC, use CCC.
You can do some benches or use othr utils like ATITool to check where is truth

I am going to check the OC with 3DMark05 and will get back to you soon.
