There isn't a whole lot of knowledge out there about 1 GB modules and what chips are on them. I'm sure it will work as intended, not sure how it will OC... By the way, if you have any troubles try 2.7v or 2.8v, should be harmless.

mobo auto detected everything except the cas, it set it cas2.5, went back into the bios changed it to cas 2. loaded xp and checked cpu-z it said it was 2-3-2-5 , system is running fast and stable. Newegg sucks monarch has such a better deal on the 2gig for 226 with free shipping. newegg wont price match monarch or give me a difference or refund. I don't want to rma and lose 15% and have to pay for shipping back. I'll stick with the 1gig i have for now and just order another stick.

Use pricewatch.com, they both use it to advertise prices...

i ordered another 1gig stick off newegg for 133$ total, monarch had it for 129 with free shipping there backrodered til the 25th. If i knew about the monarch 2gig set for 226$ with free shipping( and in stock) i went have went with that. I would have saved 26$. It still beats having to go to a local compusa and pay there prices and search through there awful selections.
