Default Problem with display driver in UT2004 - 08-11-2005, 05:54 | posts: 22

Ok, This one is realy strange. My computer is in a non-stop freazing mode in UT2004, but the thing is it's only happening when i'm playing UT2004 online, when i play in single player mode there is no plroblem at all.

I know the problem is related to my video card cause the game freaze but i can still hear the sound and then i receive a error message from VPU RECOVER that said : the display driver stop responding......

I tried everithing : reformat, tried other catalyst driver, updated agp driver, disabled/enabled agp fastwrite, disabled/enabled VPU recover, tried AGP 4x/8x, overclock/stop overclocking the card, tried different pci latency time, verified that there is no conflit in IRQ setting, replace the card by a new one, replace the mobo by a new one, using/not using vertical sync and many others setting.

I'm pretty sure it's related to the game itself, mabye a network configuration file that need to be tune-up since the game only lockup when i'm playing online. Can someone know how to resolve this. thanks.
