Default asus a8v 2 questions - 06-03-2005, 17:38 | posts: 369

hello!
I've read somewhere that 1T is suppose to be faster than 2T.
so I have disabled 2T in my bios. how can I know that I'm running in 1T now?

right now im using the 1011 bios.

ill be updating soon with the 1012 if the 1T thing is not working.

1 more question. why is my memory divider not working properly?
I set it to 5:3 which is suppose to be cpu/12 but it shows cpu/11.
so at 230 fsb(2300mhz) my memory runs at 209mhz . my cpu multi is 10x by default.

my memory divider is not working properly as well. I've heard the new beta 1013.007 bios fix the 2t command so it can run 1t. You probably aren't running 1t because it doesn't work properly with 1011 and 1012 bios. You can check if you are running 2t or 1t by using everest under computer >overclock

ill try it now and see what happens.

edit:
just tried the new beta bios. and T1 worked I got an extra 1000 bandwith from my memory

but the beta bios game me tons of problems like not booting so I have to clear cmos jumper remove my cpu n stuff.. to make it boot again.

for me the 1009 and the 1010.003 were the best and most stable bios's, i could never get anything stable with any bios past those. i havent tried the 1012 or 1013 bios yet as so far ive had nothing but great oc and stability with the 1009, and the 1010.003 .

yeah 1009 is good, but I have to flash to 1011 to support my cpu. it works with 1009 but kinda slow. so ill be using the 1013 beta since it supports my cpu and enables 1T. ohh the memory divider is still a mess with the 1013beta.
