I don't see any reason for you to complain, your score of 5900 is pretty good considering you have a budget card. Heck, at 5.9 in '03, your card's performing like a 9800Pro at stock....what's the problem?

Yeah, I must agree with the others. You pretty much pwn a 5900xt/9800pro with a card that costs, what, €80? You should be happy with the result, but if you are not, too bad! Don't buy crappy cards and then go around and complain if they don't run up to expectations!.

Oh, and by the way, take a look at the CPU score from Aquamark03 in your first link. It's 11,000+, which is way higher than you can get with your cpu @ 1.9Ghz. That's where the other 1,000 points come from. Their CPU is running 500 MHz faster than yours!! So just enjoy the great VGA oc you have there and go on overclocking your cpu some more!!

Please read carefully before commenting....the first link that HWgeek posted was for a volt-modded 6200 (prolly with all 8 pipes working) that can run at higher clocks - 560/655. Plus, we do not know what setup was used other than it's an A64, it could be OC'd as well....remember, CPU OCs do play a part in score for '03.

As for his 2nd link, I believe that review's by Shamino....Stech, are you calling one of the world's premier OCers a fake? With 8 pipes running, he scored 4971 (which is still lower than HWgeek's) :
http://www.vr-zone.com.sg/?i=1907&s=5

Then, with a volt mod and OC -
With just a bit of boost in voltage with some pencil shading, we got her to 530/670!
Just check out his before and after tweaks page :
http://www.vr-zone.com.sg/?i=1907&s=7

Edit : HWgeek, I don't think you can compare your score against these as these have been v-modded and OC'd past yours. It's very probable that their CPUs have been OC'd as well.....so, there's no basis for an apple to apple comparison. Be happy with your card as it performs almost like a 6600GT.

Yeah, I took note of your comment, but I wanted to emphasize to Stech that he's totally wrong to say that a respectable site like vr-zone was faking the score. The two cards cited were v-modded, 8 pipe enabled and GPU/CPU/FSB OC'd like mad mofos to score that high. And they were done by guys who actually know a thing or two about hard mods and OCing.

I totally agree. The A64 must at least run @ 2.4-2.5 GHz! And such sites would be stupid to fake OCs, as they live off their cred!

Well, ferget 3DMarks for the time being, enjoy your games....that's where it's at after all. You've got a budget range card that performs like a 6600GT...almost. Give HL2, FC and D3 a try....and let's see how well they run on your 6200 on steroids.
