Default Overlay Zooming Won't Stick! - 04-17-2005, 23:48 | posts: n/a

Hey, using Rivatuner V2 RC 15.4

Everything works great, but I have a capture card which for some stupid reason captures about a 100px black box on all 4 sides on video input with overlay...

This really sucks because I use my PC as a display for my second PS2 for playing multiplayer games on the net... And when I swap my video capture program to fullscreen I am loosing like an inch on all 4 sides of the picture...

I was ecstatic when I found the option for overlay zoom in RT cause it was exactly what I wanted an no other software out there offered... I enabled it, set it to "Center" and zoomed it in like 1.4x or something... it was PERFECT... it perfectly fit the screen, no lost video I managed to fine tune it till the edge of the video was perfectly at the edge of my screen...

But to my dismay, when I rebooted, the setting was lost! I went back into rivatuner, (which is configured to run at startup) and it still had my settings intact, and as soon as I clicked a button, BAM back the way I liked it...

But is it possible to make this setting stick so it applies at startup? I love that it can fix this, but it is kinda annoying to have to go in and reset it each time I want to play a game...

Thanks!

edit:
I guess I should post my specs:
Using a Geforce FX 5700Ultra with the Omega 1.6177 drivers. On windowsXP.

I think that you can do the same (overlay zoom) in the drivers overlay control panel.
Maybe that will stick?
