Default DDL removal? - 04-07-2005, 16:17 | posts: 2,751 | Location: Quebec, Canada

I found last day a program to remove obsolete DDL and other things that I dont know how to call it.

If found more than 600 things to remove, I was a little suspicious because I alreaddy bought System Mechanic 5 and it clear the Reg. That and Crap cleaner.

But I searched in it and wow, I found some very old trace of old old old demo of over a year old! Many probram now deleted and such.

I don't remember the program name but I would like to find another program that could do the same thing for a price under 80$us!! O_o !!

How about a free program? :-)

DLL Archive

"Everyone has uninstalled programs at one point or another, just to be presented with that wonderful dialog asking whether or not we want to delete some 'shared' Windows resource... Do we? Does something else use that DLL file it's asking about? Help!!! That's where AnalogX DLL Archive comes in - it searches through all the files on your system and lets you know if any of them contain references to the DLL's in question!
AnalogX DLL Archive is super-simple to use, just click search and let it do it's thing - once done, you'll be presented with a list of all the DLL's that don't have references in the system! Then just select which ones you think aren't necessary anymore and archive them; it's that simple! Make a mistake? No problem, restoring DLL's from the archive is just as simple - nothing is deleted until YOU delete it."

Are you deleting system dll's?.
Do not delete to many dll's at one time and make sure their not needed.

Did you use the free program. It backs up the dll's.

WFP protects system files by detecting attempts to replace protected system files.

You can disable WFP

AnalogX DDL remover is... worthless.

It took me some time get the windows work propertly after the reboot, so I can restore ALL the DLL.

Now windows is back to the previous state, and it will stay that way!
The program is deleted, and i'll stay whit CC and Sys Medic5!

Thank for the try

Sorry that it caused you a problem.

Any DLL's that I've needed, I've used the restore function in the program.

You may want to send them a bug report so they can improve the program.
