GeForce Chipset produces higher FPS than the Radeon.
But the Radeon is more feature packed and is one sweet card + ATi cards have fantastic DVD playback..

Please don't take the piss out of the Radeon.

Not to mention the prices these days. I'm perfectly happy with my gf1 ddr, but if I had to purchase a new computer now, it would have an ATI radeon 64 ddr vivo in it. From three most important factors price/quality/speed, gf2 cards only have the last at the moment. A thery unfortunate truth for us nvidia card users.
P.S. to me the only serious drawback for ati's radeon chipset is the lack of tweakers/drivers like nvidia's. The speed difference is not all that great, and that embm... well let's just say I was considering buying matrox g400 beacuse of it. And although I ended up getting my gf1 ddr, it doesn't mean I wouldn't want to see embm working on my system one day

The visual quality of the Radeon 32 outperforms the 32MB Geforce GTS and below as does the 64MB Radeon. However I bought the eVGA Geforce 2 MX because first of all I got it for 89.99, second of all I want the framerates, and third the visual quality is good enough for me (I've been on a Voodoo 2 for the past 2 yrs!!!). But for you guys that want visuals over speed, Radeon is the answer!

Y2A said it

Speed- Geforce2
Visual Quality- Radeon

but Id rather get a Geforce right now because the features of the radeon havent been used yet and hardware is so far past the software its sickenening... I wish they would make a game that would REALLY push a high-end system and use those nice new features that we wanna see... ARRRRRG
