Just download the old bios file that you had and make a floppy disk with a bios flasher for asus motherboards and reflash the bios. You obveously know how to flash the bios.. Just use the old bios file.

First: did you only make changes in the CMOS and set the items in the way which is different from "default" and you've forgotten the initial values? If it is so, than all you have to do is to choose the "optimal" or "default" settings, and "exit saving changes".

But, if you FLASHED the BIOS, and this new one doesn't work the way it is supposed to, than you have to grab the old one from Asus's download site and flash the BIOS again.

i had bios 1004 which gives u the option of switching to SLI and then i went to 1006 and that option was not there anymore. i ran some tests with 1006 and then went back to 1004 and renabled SLI and the numbers were the exact same. i think they just set it to auto by default or somthing. as long as your display drivers says it is enabled then it is, and dont worry about it.

I had an issue after flashing where windows would no longer detect the second card, and disabled SLI. Couldnt even enable it in the drivers. Clearing CMOS, and then reinstalling the drivers solved the problem.
