I'm about to buy a new card! These are exciting times i live in So I have about 300 to blow. Do you go with a geforce 3 ti500 and softquadro it to a Quadro DCC or do you buy the new Geforce 4 ti4400 or 4600? i don't believe that you can softquadro then new cards to make into Quadro 4's. i've read that the new quadro's have different silicon for the first time ever. Correct me if i'm wrong! But which of these 2 senarios would you guys recommend if you only use 3d applications such as Maya and XSI. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance
I need to test GF4 board myself in order to give you strict answer. The only thing that I can state with 100% warranty is that hardware DeviceID mod will not work. But probably it will be posiible to make a patch.

That would be very interesting to know, Alexey. I mean how can you patch the drivers if the deviceID override will not work?

Thanks
