I currently own altec 2.1 speakers and promedia v2-400 4.1 speakers. <P>i was wondering if i can use the 2.1 speakers for the front channel and v2 400 4.1 for front left and right and rear left and rear right?

It would be a hack at best, since I have the Pro Media also (great speakers)..Since you only have the two outs, you could get a y-cable and run both fronts but in a different position. In other words, if thats the effect you want to achive, a cheap connector will do it.
