Unhappy Need help-terrible 3DMark05 score - 11-14-2004, 07:12 | posts: n/a

Just purchased a new system today:

AMD XP 64 3200+ (~2.2Ghz)
Asus K8N-E Deluxe
eVGA Nvidia 6800(nu) 128 mb (came with 61.43 drivers, which I updated to 66.93)

1 Gig (2x512) Mushkin Blue PC3200
WD 160GB SATA
Direct x 9.0c
DVD-RW, Floppy
On-board sound, NIC
Win XP Home (installed updates and SP2)

After running 3DMark05 (hot-fixed version) I am only getting 3177, which seems way too low

Any suggestions on what I need to do to bring this up to par??? (using stock system--no overclocking).

you can enable the 4 pixel pipes and 1 vertex pipe (both disabled) in that 6800NU,it gives a boost in your performance
For that,use Riva Tuner

I am new to using Riva Tuner--exactly how do I enable the 4 pixel pipes and 1 vertex pipe with it?
