UT rocks! Especially because of all the weapons and mods. It runs really smooth and just a great multiplayer shoot'm up game. I used to think Q3 was great until I tried UT.

Well, if I want a quick no-brains blast, then I'll put on Q3. It's got fast, smooth gameplay and really nice graphics, well-thought out maps and is great fun to play. But if it comes to a game that will last long after you've completed it, it's gotta be UT. Far, far better than Q3 (although on my old TNT2 card it ran like a dog). UT is the greatest.

BTW what you like for old school FPS (Project IGI, Soldier of Fortune etc)?
I do like that both games run really really well at 1600 x 1200 or 1280 x 1024, and both are fun to play. I must admit ive played Q3 a lot more, but never online because a)i have a 56K modem and b)warez!

I actually bought UT, but ive not played it a whole lot. It's cool though because there is more than just a deathmatch like quake 3.

But the true winner is Carnivores 2

i like both but i gotta go with quake 3 arena. you know what would be cool with unreal tournament? - the redeemer should have a 3rd fire option where u can launch a warhead as a grenade and then it explodes when some onw walks next to it. KABOOM!!!

Hey, everyone wakes up... Both lose, Q3 and UT. Have you tried "Serious Sam"??? If you haven't, just go to your local store, the game is only 20 bucks...

Feel that you are a good FPS??? Would you feel that kick-ass facing 30 enemies in the same screen all of them shooting at you??? Really wanna test your skill???? Stop wondering, get the game and install it.

Superb graphics, gorgeous outside enviroments, tons of enemies, enough weapons and ammo to start a war... the best of all is the gameplay, fast paced, no time to rest, no complicated puzzles to solve, plot is just a justification to kill the baddies....

Ah, and if you like multiplayer, you can have fragmatch, deathmatch and cooperative....

The king is dead!!! Long live the new King!!!
serious sam isnt bad.. but its kinda boring, and lots of the enemies look like crap. The weapons are mostly rubbish too. I just started playing UT again recently, and it rules! it kicks Q3's ass with all those different game modes. And i love the fact that weapons have multiple fire modes, and the chain gun ROCKS!!!

Q3 rules, no matter what anybody says.
Anyone who thinks the weapons are lame doesn't appreciate the thrill of the railgun and BFG

Not to mention everyone's favorite Quad Damage.

Those who love Q3 should check out Q3 Team Arena expansion.
The chain guns is the best.

The levels are better, the graphics are better, the enemies are better

Anyone who says UT runs faster has a slow a$$ computer with a lame graphics card. Time to modernize..........
