is bungie still making halo for xbox only? That just bursts my bubbles. stupid microsoft, i mean, they just want to have better sales and i understand but that's cornering, pushing us to buy that (weak) machine if we want to play the game. what would be great is if we could burn their games...oh well...<BR>btw, i just saw a trailer of halo, that should explain this post.

Yes HALO will kick, however u gotta take a look at the upcoming tribes 2 on the 30th of this month, it will prove to be great competition for HALO.
Actually pretty much all of the titles coming to x-box will be ported to pc. That's thanks to microsoft and it's directx. (jesus am I thanking microsoft here?! What next? Frogs raining from the sky, and my windows not freezing for a day straight?) <IMG SRC="smileys/eek.gif">
FIRST OF ALL SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS. THE POINT IS TO CATCH YOUR EYE IN THIS ANCIENT THREAD!!!! Now for my commentary... Doesn't this really say it all. The problem with video games. Do you think when this thread was originally created these guys had any idea that they were gonna have to wait 2 1/2 years before they would actually see HALO for PC. I guess they were lucky they didn't hold their breath. I swear I spend far more time waiting for video games than I actually do playing them. For every good hour I spend playing a game I spend a good week looking over boards tryig to get the latest on whatever game it is that's first release date was 1 month after it was announced but actually showed up years later. Also, the era of the good demo is over too. Nowadays, you download a 300meg demo to play a level that lasts about as long as it takes to view a screenshot. I think developers should at least in good faith provide demos that have as more play time than it takes to download it with a decent broadband connection. Oh well, I'm done ranting, is half-life 2 out, doom3? Are we there yet?
Hey at least Halo didn't suck crap, I waited like crazy for Lionheart, paid preorder ,and got charged shiping costs from U.S (game cost me about $82) ,and the best part of all, got one of the worst games I ever played. So to wrap it up, I no longer drool over my keyboard on upcoming games, nor will I ever preorder again. Also, I have no idea what I was trying to say, but now am too lazy to erase this thread, so I'll just press replay. Thank you.
