Yes theres a new patch out for 3dmark05 to keep those pesky exploits (Wireframe\mipmaps). Download it now!

cough ati my @$$ ati got those gains becuse they disabled some optimizations and when disabled ran games faster without any loss on quality.thats called a optimization unlike the stunt nvidia pulled on 3dmark03 lower quality

Actually is was both ATI and Nvidia who cheated on 3Dmark2K3.

Yes I am sure that futuremark holds out there hands for donations from ATI or Nvidia, whoever pays gets driver tweaks!

im not flaming but only 1 way to tell .well see after x800`s run 3dmark05 again.if i am wrong ill apoligize if ur wrong i will expect u to apologize.(Now the X800's can go back to 1978 just like their technology!)<<that was to much of an under statement i got 2,688 on a 9800se flashed /modded to an xt.an beside the 8.07 driver was future mark approved.future mark wouldnt approve them if somthing was wrong.do research before u post dumb comments

I think the patch deals with the 3D Analyze hacks and being able to submit them via the ORB.

A friend of mine was bragging the other day that his new car can go 0-60 in 0.7 seconds less than mine, and seemed to think this unnoticeable "improvement" justified the significantly higher price he paid for it. Similarly, why can't people face the fact that each card has its own advantages and disadvantages and that they're pretty close performance-wise? The problem is that these graphics card companies' marketing is TOO good - they live off fanboys refusing to buy from the competition.

Also, why would the UK have Hitler's dictionary?

BTW GJ (more of the shortening) on getting that card in the UK, im sure it was alot tougher than in the States.....AND.... I am messing with all of you, especially after some encouragement, and I should have specified I was referring to the 8000+ scores on stock cpus. I got 5098 on my 1st try, and honestly I am happy with it.
