Went from a p4 3.06 to a amd 3400 64bit but it slows way down when im multi tasking like ripping and coping dvd at the same time never slowed down with my p4
Ive only got 1.5 gb of ram now as the board doent take any more and ive got a K8v SE Deluxe asus board now. Got told once the 64 bit windows comes out it should fly multi tasking

multitasking and ecoding/ripping were never an AMD strong point....not even in the 64s.......
hyperthreading and Pentium chips in general love ecoding/ripping/mutlitasking and for hte most part bench higher on those tests......Athlon 64s seem to be the choice for gaming, however. |

Cheers putting that way im happy then as i would like to get more kills when online gaming(which im starting to see now even though ive started using a new mouse at the same time as i started with amd 64) so ill put up with a slow done with my fun time with dvds
