I have windows XP 64 BIT beta on a CD, do you think its worth upgrading or just waiting? or maybe i should get a linux distro.. i dunno, im bored with this i got a AMD64 and haven't been able to own with it yet. boo

man im bored.

I dunno why im still typing....

uh ok im retarted its 2:25 am EST and im off to sleep.

lol thread...hehe .. im in the same state of mind.. the problem i feel is lack of drivers.. well not lack of them but there not optimized to play games yet ...

remember that windows 64 is still a BETA and you here people slagging it of... crazy sh*t.

I am going to stay with windows xp sp2 for now.. till i see some improvment in the drivers for windows 64.

set up a dual boot system, so you can give xp-64 ago and still use the normal version if you want to

Well, i manage to get drivers for almost everithing (creative drivesr are still very beta but functional).Posting from X64 in this moment.Seems very stable.

It took me some time to get the drivers.he alcatel ones never worked
I decided to get a router, got the drivers for the Lan card on the board, also drivers for Audigy from Creative.OC seems fine,Nvidia drivers look stable.I find the all setup very reliable.Give it a go.I need to U/D my links from the Mozila browser in XP
Ahh,BTW,have not managed to run Mozila in the 64 bit version.Only downplus so far
Going to try ans install Far Cry on the x-64.

Have you installed FarCry on windows 64 yet 'NowayDude', it will be intresting to compare it with a version of FarCry running on a 32bit O/S ..
